Experiencing God's Love Together
The Koinonia Center offers individual and group gatherings
for people to personally experience the Spirit of God.  Encounter
the Lord with your heart, soul, mind and body. The center's gatherings will augment and not replace one's organized church life.

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

First summer book discussion:
Same Kind of Different as Me
by Ron Hall and Denver Moore
Tuesday, June 21
9:15 - 11:45 AM

Ron Hall, an international art dealer, and
                          Denver Moore, a former sharecropper,
became best friends through Ron's wife,
Deborah. When she was dying of cancer,
Denver helped Deborah carry on the
ministry she had started. The story goes
                          into the developing personal friendship
between two men of different upbringing,
and the struggle that is required to make
and maintain such a friendship across a
wide cultural canyon. This book is an easy and engaging read and is sure to generate some interesting discussion.

The Odyssey: The Further Journey
a Richard Rohr DVD viewing & discussion
Tuesday, July 5
Choose one session:
9:15 - 11:45 AM or 6:30 - 9:00 PM

Richard Rohr looks at the mythological symbols in modern terms, as well as uncovering
some religious content in the story.
The listener might be surprised that
much of the focus in this story
relates directly to what we call today
“the second half of life” journey.
This teaching calls us to explore our
life and to grow from the experience.
