The Koinonia Center A place to study, pray and be transformed through the Spirit of God

Experiencing God's Love Together
The Koinonia Center offers individual and group gatherings
for people to personally experience the Spirit of God. Encounter
the Lord with your heart, soul, mind and body. The center's gatherings will augment and not replace one's organized
church life.
"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Matthew 22:37-39

The great spiritual quest of the Western world
today is not about belief in God. It is about
the experience of God. It is about seeking to
encounter Sacredness now--in the earth, in
our relationships with one another, and in the
simple disciplines of contemplative practice.
John Philip Newel draws on the ancient insights
of Celtic Spirituality. He explores a spirituality
of intimacy with the natural world, a spirituality that opens to the treasure of other religious traditions, and a spirituality that grounds its commitment to justice in the daily practice of prayer and meditation.

This book, which is included on
Renovare’s list of 25 Books Every
Christian Should Read, is indicative
of the easy to read, yet profound
wisdom, that Nouwen offers in his
writings. “Nouwen’s message of the
forgiveness and welcome that God
offers to all of us, both our prodigal
and our elder selves, is a powerful
lesson.” Reflection Questions will be
available to all registered participants
starting June 4th, so register now!
